A deliciously creamy stout in the Irish tradition. This deep, coffee colored beer has the aroma and flavor of chocolate, roasted oats, and coffee with a rich tan head.
For only $5.99 a six pack, this one was a pretty damn good deal. I believe Goose Island brews these beers for Trader Joe's, and this may be the case as it reminded me of GI's "Oatmeal Stout". Very smooth with hints of coffee and cocoa, this one's a no brainer for about a buck a beer.
