From the Goose Island website:
Densely populated with flavor, 312’s spicy aroma of Cascade hops is followed by a crisp, fruity ale flavor delivered in a smooth, creamy body. This gives 312 a balance of flavor and refreshment that never fills you up and won’t let you down.
Well, I disagree with the "densely populated with flavor" comment, but Goose Island's "312" is not a bad summer style beer. It's got a nice citrus twang to it with a medium amount of hops, and does indeed taste pretty good on a hot day. When poured into a glass there's minimum amount of head/lacing, but it does have a nice cloudy tinge to it. There's a bit of a lemony/fruity smell, and, like I said prior, a slight bit of hops on the aftertaste. It is a very light beer, which isn't my cup of tea, but it's a good beer to give to the Coors Light/Miller Lite crowd who never venture out of that realm. Not bad at all, just not my cup of tea.
